This page is dedicated to anyone that believes Bahrain’s state propaganda.

Pro-government trolls usually make the same mistakes.

1. They ignore the hundreds of wounded patients that flooded Salmaniya hospital in the police’s violent crackdown. This caused people to reject the regime and outraged doctors. Video

2. They ignore Al Khalifa’s mass torture, which undermines the ability and desire to have a true dialogue. news report, video

3. They often use arguments for normal crowd control to justify inexcusable human rights atrocities.

One can not justify torturing wounded patients.

4. Al Khalifa’s radical hard liners have polarized the society and permanently wrecked the regime’s credibility. The moderates and U.S. failed miserably in controlling them.

YOU DO NOT CREATE STABILITY BY ABUSING THE PUBLIC

You do not create stability by harming thousands, attacking the wounded, abducting hundreds at night and torturing detainees. You polarize your population and outrage the world.

The protests started off massive, peaceful and moderate. They became radicalized once the Bahraini security forces attacked protesters in the middle of the night on February 17, wounding hundreds and killing people. The hospitals became outraged at the gory site of wounded patients flooding their beds the next day. The Harming Protesters page describes the raid’s casualties.

The monarchy says it wants a dialogue, but it is torturing and imprisoning people for life for speaking out.

The protests began peacefully and were supported by huge segments of the population. The protesters themselves discuss why their views changed, without being filtered by Bahrain TV.

The protests became radicalized when wounded patients flooded the hospital during the police’s brutal February 17 crackdown. This is what Bahrain TV hides.

The regime is now using mass repression to stay in power, with the support of Saudi troops that arrived on March 15. The public is hostile to foreign workers because the monarchy uses foreign mercanaries in its police force to badly abuse Shias, that are not allowed to serve in it.

AMERICA SHOULD SUPPORT SECULAR DEMOCRACY, NOT DICTATORS

The Al Khalifa monarchy talks about sectarian conflict or radical islam, but it is actually scared of secular democracy. That is why it arrests, tortures and imprisons moderates.

THE AL KHALIFI REGIME HAS PERMANENTLY WRECKED ITS REPUTATION

The whole world has now heard of the Al Khalifa regime and knows it will do any cruel act it can get away with to stay in power, including torturing patients. State propaganda is not going to undo this.

THE WORLD IS WATCHING

The foreign minister says he has done things like this before, so he can do it again. He has become the public spokesman for the regime’s most brutal policies. Watch the video from 1:46 to 2:05.

But the foreign minister is wrong this time. This is the Arab Spring, and the whole world is watching. Bahrain will not be able to erase its image as a gross human rights violator.

I am an American, and I will never forget the Al Khalifa monarchy tortured wounded patients in the hospital. My country should not sell you billions of dollars in arms, anymore. Step down Khalifa.
